Why Clinpex Exists
Clinical coding sits at the intersection of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency—yet for years the tools available to coders were either overly complex legacy systems or inadequate workarounds built in spreadsheets.
Clinpex was founded to change that. We set out to build a coding platform that combined serious automation with the kind of flexibility real studies require—one that could be adopted quickly, without a six-month implementation project, and maintained without a dedicated IT team.
From the creators of dsNavigator—a clinical coding platform that served pharma and CRO teams for over a decade—Clinpex brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience building coding solutions. That heritage means we understand the problem from the inside, not from a product roadmap.
We started with the Clinpex Coding Platform and grew from there—adding a managed coding service for teams that need capacity, a coding API for software vendors who want to embed coding without building it, and free MedDRA browser tools for individuals who just need fast, reliable dictionary access.
